VT Sales Tax Holiday - The state of Vermont will have a sales tax holiday on March 6, 2010. On that day, items of tangible personal property costing $2,000.00 or less purchased for personal use (including musical instruments!) are exempt from sales tax and local option sales tax. Ellis Music will be open from 9:00am until 1:00pm on March 6th... come by and take advantage of this opportunity! Note: Due to the technical challenges involved, web orders placed on March 6 will be processed initially including tax, but the tax amount will be manually refunded on the next business day.
