This peg can be screwed into a compatible Hercules stand (sold separately) to add the ability to hold a soprano sax or a flugelhorn. The part where the instrument rests is covered with velvet to protect the finish of the instrument.
Screw threads are 3/8-16. (Note: This peg will NOT work with Hamilton or K&M stands.)
