This Ernst Couturier long model conical bore cornet, serial #2599, dates back to 1918. It's in excellent condition and includes the original case, 2 extra main tuning slides (to allow for ideal tuning with minimal slide extension), a rotary change valve, and a marching lyre. (One of the valve buttons was missing and the replacement does not match the others.) Two mouthpieces are included: 1 E.A. Couturier Co. Ltd. MT and 1 Antoine Courtois & Mille. The instrument was manufactured in LaPorte, Indiana.
