This sonata has quickly become one of the most popular and useful original accompanied works for baritone saxophone, finding its way onto state lists for high-school festival auditions as well as into many college music studios. Since 2021 it has also been included in the examination repertoire of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM), based in the UK and used worldwide.
